印刷用ページ 任天堂は30日、平成25年3月期 第3四半期決算短信を発表しました。
期間中（2012年4月1日～12月31日）の売上高は5430億3300万円（前年同期は5561億6600万円）、営業利益は-58億5700万円（同-164億800万円）、経常利益は227億5600万円（同-660億2700万円）、四半期純利益は145億4500万円（同-483億5100万円）で、昨年に引き続き営業赤字が発生しましたが経常黒字となりました。
2011年度の同時期はニンテンドー3DS本体の販売が計画を大きく下回ったことをはじめ、夏に実施した本体値下げによって逆ざやが発生、他にも為替市場は記録的な円高の最中であるなど、厳しい事業環境にあり大きな大幅な赤字となっていました。
今年度の第3四半期では、3DSの逆ざやを解消した状態で年末商戦を迎えられたものの、Wii U本体の採算は厳しい状態にあります。昨年秋までの円高ユーロ安の影響もあって売上高は前年をさらに下回り、営業赤字となりました。ただ、為替市場は秋頃から円安傾向になり為替差益が発生、経常利益と四半期純利益は2年ぶりに黒字となりました。
販売数量はWii U本体が306万台／ソフトが1169万台、ニンテンドー3DS本体が1271万台／ソフトが3956万本、Wii本体が353万台／4508万本、ニンテンドーDS本体が215万台／ソフトが3024万本です。
年末までの動向などを踏まえ、年間出荷計画が下方修正されました。修正後はWii U本体が400万台（従来は550万台）、ニンテンドー3DS本体が1500万台（従来は1750万台）、Wii本体が400万台（同500万台）、ニンテンドーDS本体が230万台（同250万台）となっています。
