印刷用ページ 任天堂は、2003年に発売したゲームキューブ用ソフト「ゼルダの伝説 風のタクト」をWii U向けにリメイクすると発表しました。発売時期については、岩田聡社長によると「今年（2013年）の秋までにお届けできる予定」とのこと。
Wii U版ではハードの進化に合わせてグラフィックが一新されるほか、ゲーム全体のチューニングも行われます。また、Wii U GamePad単体でのプレイやMiiverseにも対応します。
なお、Wii U向けには「ゼルダの伝説」シリーズ最新作の開発も進められています。
