処理能力でいえば、単純比較はできませんがゲームキューブが１２８人マリオだったので、『Nintendo ON』はそのはるかに上ということになりそうです。
確かに革命を起こしているかもしれません。マリオがジャンプする場合は、実際にプレイヤーがジャンプするとか。まあ、それだと疲れますね。
最後に。「これが本当かどうか分からない」んです。というより、ネタである可能性のほうが高いです。

映像は、今までに発売された主なハードを紹介した後、スーパーマリオ６４のお城が登場。オープニングのようなカメラワークの後、お城の上空を移し、ズームダウンしていきます。と思ったらお城が限りなく遠くまで現れ、合計１億５２００万個ものピーチ城（映像より）が現れ、大きなお城や「Nintendo」ロゴを作り出しています。
その後、『Nintendo ON（以下、ON）』のロゴが現れ、紹介に入っていきます。色々なアングルからＯＮを見た後、「Revolution System」と表示。様々な色のハードを見た後、そこへ１人の男性が登場。
その人はとりあえず置いといて、ＯＮの機能紹介をします。ＯＮはテレビやモニターに表示することが可能で、ゲームキューブとレボと思われるハードが使用できます。「PLAY GAMES」「MAKE GAMES」「THE EYES FEEL GAMES」との文字。ＯＮは２つに分かれ、そのうち小さい方を男性が使用します。ＯＮは、マイクとサラウンドホンが装備されています。
その言葉の通り、新ハードはプレイに革命を起こすものでした。ハードを頭につけ、大きい方にソフト（ＤＶＤ）を挿入。ロードは３０秒以内です。 すると、装着したものから映像が見え、まるで自分がゲームの世界に入っていったかのような臨場感が味わえ、実際に歩いたりもできます。ゲームは、メトロイドのようです。
最後に、新しいタッチで描かれたピーチ城とマリオが登場し、映像が終わります。
