印刷用ページ 任天堂は、Wiiチャンネルの一つである「テレビの友チャンネル Gガイド for Wii」のサービスを2011年7月24日で終了すると発表しました。
「テレビの友チャンネル Gガイド for Wii」公式サイトによると、サービス終了の理由はアナログ放送の終了に伴うものであるとのこと。サービス終了日時は、2011年7月24日（日）正午です。
サービス終了後は本タイトルのダウンロードが不可能になるほか、既にダウンロード済の場合もサービスを利用できなくなります。
「テレビの友チャンネル Gガイド for Wii」は、Wiiでテレビ番組表を閲覧したり、Wiiリモコンを使ってテレビのチャンネルを切り替えたり音量を変更したりできるソフトで、2008年3月4日にサービスを開始しました。
