印刷用ページ Nintendo of AmericaとNintendo of Europeは、Wii本体の値下げを正式発表しました。また、「ゼルダの伝説 トワイライトプリンセス」など任天堂ソフトの廉価版も発売されます。
北米におけるWii本体の現行価格は199.99ドルですが、2011年5月15日より149.99ドルに値下げとなります。同梱ソフトは、従来の「Wii Sports」「Wii Sports Resort」から、「マリオカートWii」へと変更になります。周辺機器は「Wiiモーションプラス」に加え、マリオカートWiiで使える「Wiiハンドル」も同梱されます。

北米で「ベースボール」、欧州で「ストライカーズ」が入っているのが
地域性があっておもしろいですね。
廉価版を出すあたり、任天堂もイロイロ試行錯誤している感じがします。
