印刷用ページ Nintendo of Koreaが運営するニンテンドー3DS向けオンラインショップ「ニンテンドーeショップ」にて、ソフトの韓国語への翻訳が行われていたタイトルに関して、代わりに日本語版や英語版をそのまま配信するとのこと。
任天堂では、日本・北米・欧州でソフトの発売時期がなるべく揃うようなスケジュールを組んでいますが、翻訳に時間がかかるソフトはリリースがずれる場合もあります。また、韓国や中国といった新興市場では、他地域に比べて発売時期が遅れる場合や、需要が見込めない場合はそもそも翻訳されないケースもあります。
そこで、任天堂製品の韓国での展開を担当するNintendo of Koreaでは、韓国語への翻訳が行われないタイトルに関しては、ニンテンドーeショップにて日本語版と英語版のダウンロード版を配信するとのこと。
ラインナップには任天堂ソフトのほか、日本や北米・欧州のみで発売されているサードパーティ製のソフトも含まれています。なお、「とびだせ どうぶつの森」「Newスーパーマリオブラザーズ2」「わがままファッション GIRLS MODE よくばり宣言！」「マリオテニスオープン」は韓国語への翻訳が予定されていますが、日本語版と英語版もリリースされます。
