印刷用ページ 海外で11月に発売予定の「Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two」が、Wii U向けにも開発中であることが発表されました。Wii U版では、プレイヤーはGamePadを持って操作することになります。
GamePadのスクリーンには、例えばマップや、能力を使うためのボタンなどが表示されます。また、Wiiリモコン＋ヌンチャク操作による協力プレイにも対応しています。
なお、Wii Uにはテレビ画面無しでGamePadのみでプレイできる「Off-TV Play」機能がありますが、本作は未対応とのこと。
