印刷用ページ Wii U本体の発売は2012年末の予定ですが、海外では早くもサードパーティ製周辺機器のリリースが決定しました。
海外の周辺機器メーカーMad Catzは、Wii U向けの周辺機器を4つ発表しました。
1つ目の「TRITTON Kunai Stereo Gaming Headset」はゲーム用のヘッドセット、2つ目と3つ目の「PowerUp ChargeDock」はWiiリモコンとゲームパッドをそれぞれ充電するための周辺機器、4つ目の「FlipStand Protective Cover」はゲームパッド用のスクリーンカバーです。
このうち、3つ目のゲームパッド用「PowerUp ChargeDock」は、ゲームパッドを充電するためのクレードルで、スタンドの役目も果たします。今のところ公式にはこういった周辺機器は発表されていませんが、需要はありそうですね。
なお、これらの機器の日本での発売は未定です。
