ネット接続率の向上に伴い、ニンテンドーeショップを活用するユーザーが増加し、ダウンロード版の販売も拡大傾向にあるとしています。
また、昨年12月に発売したWii Uのネットワーク接続率は74％に達しているとのこと。3DSはネットワーク関連機能の立ち上がりが遅れましたが、Wii Uは発売日時点から多くの機能を利用できたことも影響しているものと思われます。
