印刷用ページ 任天堂は25日、「平成25年3月期 第2四半期決算短信」を発表しました。
第2四半期（平成24年4月1日～9月30日）の売上高は2009億9400万円（前年同期比-6.8％）、営業利益は-291億5900万円、経常利益は-472億4800万円、四半期純利益は-279億9600万円で、第2四半期としては3期連続の赤字決算となりました。
以前発表した業績予想をいずれも下回る結果となりましたが、3DSの不調や大幅な円高が発生した前年同期に比べると赤字は半減しました。
期間中は、ニンテンドー3DSの新たなサイズバリエーションである「ニンテンドー3DS LL」を発売、3DS本体全体では半年間で506万台を出荷しました。
また、ソフトウェアでは「Newスーパーマリオブラザーズ2」の販売本数がパッケージ版・ダウンロード版の合計で累計300万本を突破しています。過去作品のリピートも好調となり、ソフトウェア全体では1903万本になりました。
ニンテンドーDSに関しては、「ポケットモンスター ブラック2・ホワイト2」が累計426万本となりました。ただ、ハードの世代交代が進んだことから、本体は98万台、ソフトウェアは1730万本に留まりました。
Wiiは、「マリオパーティ9」がミリオンセラーとなったものの新規タイトルの少なさなどが影響し、本体が132万台、ソフトウェアが2374万本になりました。
ただ、為替市場が引き続き想定為替レートを上回る円高に推移したため、為替差損が232億円発生しました。また、第2四半期より製造を開始したWii U本体の収益性が厳しいことも、営業損失が発生した要因の一つとなっています。
想定為替レートは1ドル＝80円／1ユーロ＝105円から、ユーロの円高を反映して1ユーロ＝100円へ修正となりました。また、ニンテンドー3DS本体の年度内出荷計画が従来の1850万台から1750万台へと下方修正されました。
通期業績予想も、売上高が8100億円（前回予想は8200億円）、営業利益が200億円（同200億円）、経常利益が100億円（同350億円）、当期純利益が60億円（同200億円）へと下方修正されました。影響利益は4割、経常利益と当期純利益は7割減となりますが、通期での黒字は確保する見込みです。
