岩田社長によると、E3プレゼンテーションでは「Wii Uでどのようなゲームが楽しめるのか、具体的にお伝えしたい」とのこと。一方で、Wii Uの発表を集中的に行うことから、ニンテンドー3DSについては「別の機会にお伝えすることを予定しています」としました。
なお、Wii Uの情報が集中的に扱われるのはプレゼンテーションのみとなるのか、会場でのソフト出展も含めてWii Uが中心になるのかは不明です。
