印刷用ページ 日本一ソフトウェアは28日、東京都大田区の平和島で開催された「秋葉原電気外祭り2011 WINTER in 平和島」にて、「洞窟物語3D」の国内での展開について発表しました。
「洞窟物語3D」は、海外で「Cave Story 3D」として発売された作品の日本語版です。本作は、開発室Pixelによって日本でリリースされたPC用フリーゲーム「洞窟物語」を3DS向けにリメイクした作品で、海外で先行発売されていましたが、今回めでたく日本での発売が決定しました。
ちなみに「洞窟物語」はDSiウェア版が配信中ですが、原作からの変更点は難易度選択やジュークボックスなどの機能が追加されただけで、内容に関してはほぼ移植でした。
3DS版ではグラフィックが一新されているほか、裸眼立体視への対応、隠し要素の追加など、単なる移植ではなくリメイク作品になっています。また、日本での発売にあたり、超有名レトロゲームとのコラボレーションが行われるとのこと。
